The fact that social media has become a way of living for my generation triggered me to take a closer look at this phenomenon. After doing thorough research the results showed that young creatives do not have a platform of their own. It also showed that Instagram is too big, Linked-In mainly has its focus on professionals in all kinds of branches and Béhance only aims at big-budget designers. Where does that leave the newly graduated creatives? Basically nowhere…! This is when I spotted the opportunity to develop the solution, a new platform named: Lay-Out
Lay-Out is easy to use and access, it provides the perfect way for graduates to showcase their work. This will help them build a network of their own which ultimately result into landing jobs or commissions.
